Our Custom Tuning services are offered under the assumption that your vehicle is in good mechanical condition and you have a basic knowledge of automotive systems (you're not a mechanic, we get it, but you do need to know how to change a spark plug).
Unfortunately, when it comes to modding cars and trucks some simple things can throw the proverbial wrench into your efforts. We often times attempt to assist customers with datalogging or remote tuning only to find that there has been a step (or 5) missed during the installation and modding processes. This proves to be costly for the customer in both time and money. Canceled dyno appointments, numerous visits to a mechanic, it all adds up quickly.
Often times, we can do a diagnosis that will point you in the right direction and give you guidance as to how to communicate with your local mechanic and get you up and running for tuning or daily use.
You must have access to email, a cellphone camera of GOOD quality and some very basic knowledge of parts (again, think spark plugs). You must have some type of OBDII device to read your vehicle's information and a Windows laptop to datalog. SCT X4, BDX, etc or HP Tuners MPVI-2 or nGauge will all work. However, we only provide tuning services for SCT devices (except for Coyote, EcoBoost and 20+ GT500. HP Tuners RTD device is required for those. nGauge cannot be used for tuning because they are out of business and cannot provide support.)
Our initial $250.00 fee includes up to 1/2 hour of phone, screen share or Team Viewer access for us and your Windows laptop.
Additional time is charged on 1 hour minimums at $100 per hour.
